How NorthStar Day was built, and why.
Driven by a shared vision, Dr. Brandi Rials and Dr. Kelly Everson united to transform the standard of care for neurodivergent children and their families. They believe that children facing complex autism, developmental, and mental-health needs deserve seamless, compassionate support from a single, unified team, turning a fragmented journey into a clear path forward.

Transforming fragmented care into coordinated healing.
Dr. Brandi Rials and Dr. Kelly Everson, the visionary co-founders of NorthStar Day, saw an opportunity to completely transform pediatric behavioral health care. They envisioned a world where families no longer have to navigate the exhausting maze of separated providers, juggling multiple appointments for occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychiatry, and counseling all across town.
Instead of forcing families to act as the sole bridge between isolated specialists, NorthStar Day brings everything together under one roof. By uniting a multidisciplinary team of experts who actively collaborate, share insights, and coordinate daily care, they ensure every child receives the seamless, holistic support they deserve.
One team, one place, one plan.
The NorthStar Day difference: turning an overwhelming journey into a unified, empowering experience where children thrive and families feel supported every step of the way. Expert clinicians drive our mission forward by setting the gold standard of care, shaping our innovative curriculum, and providing hands-on supervision to cultivate an exceptional clinical team.
The program runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Children spend their days in small, consistent groups with clinicians they know, and care stays individualized. Every child follows a treatment plan and daily schedule built for them. The clinical approach is integrated and evidence-based: CBT and DBT-informed skills work woven through individual, group, and family therapy, alongside OT, speech, psychiatry, pediatric nutrition, case management, and educational support. Trauma-informed and sensory-aware aren't add-ons. They shape the building, the daily flow, and how staff interact with children and families.
A sister program under the NorthStar umbrella.
NorthStar Day operates as a sister program under the NorthStar Behavioral Health (NorthStar BHC) umbrella: same parent organization, different program focus. NorthStar BHC is the outpatient mental-health practice. NorthStar Day is the pediatric day-treatment program. Same brand, same standards of care.
The Palm Beach Gardens, FL facility is our first location. Additional South Florida locations are planned as the program grows, with the same integrated model and the same coordinated team in more communities across the region.
