Logos

Logo files.

SVG for screens and anything that needs to scale. PNG, on a transparent background, for everything else. For print, have your printer set the colors to the CMYK builds below. Each file is trimmed to the artwork, so add your own margin around it.

Color and type

Brand colors and typefaces.

The CMYK values are builds for GRACoL 2006 coated stock. Use them rather than a converter's numbers: an automatic conversion prints the navy noticeably too light. On uncoated paper the navy can't be matched exactly.

Both typefaces are free from Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License. The lettering in the logo is artwork, not a font, so use the logo files rather than typing the name out in a similar face.

Usage

Using the name and logo.

The name

  • NorthStar is one word with a capital S.
  • Write NorthStar Day Program on first reference and NorthStar Day after that.

The logo

  • Use the files as supplied. Don't recolor, stretch, rotate, or add effects to them.
  • Use the full-color version on light backgrounds and the on-dark version on dark ones.
  • Give the logo room, and keep the ™ symbol on it.

Photography

  • Leadership headshots are available on request.
  • Please don't republish photographs from this website. Ask us about images instead.
